Two Paths

By Miles Krol, Founder of Milesfit

Haven't posted in a while, so I wanted to put something out there!

COVID has certainly been a roller coaster ride for the world. Millions of lives lost, hundreds of thousands of business gone forever, and billions of lives impacted.

COVID has equally been a magnifying glass to illuminate, highlight, and expand both the good and bad concerning many parts of our lives - a double edged sword of awareness and raw truth.

I've seen people forced to change careers , lose their jobs, go through depression and other challenging emotions, sink to very low lows, and violate values of decency, respect, and integrity. Survival mode. Limbic brain inundation (fight or flight response). Sad things to see, but understandable to a certain degree considering the circumstances.

I've equally seen the flip-side of things. Light penetrating the darkness.

People following their passion, taking positive risks in the hope of new beginnings, reinventing themselves, and cultivating deeper levels of understanding, compassion, and love.

There are two sides to every coin.

Two angles of perception to every situation.

There are always two paths that one can go down.

We've all had our own unique experience of things (the good, the bad, and the ugly).

I can honestly tell you from my neck of the woods that the pandemic affected my business, my life, and my reality. A rug pulled form under my feet (but equally an opportunity to have the unbelievable gift to pick myself up from the ground - cultivating stronger emotional/spiritual resilience, creative abilities, and mental strength).

I am proud to say that Milesfit is booming (we've had more people sign on for private training with us since we've opened than ever before). In addition, my personal scheduled is packed (95% full) with a waiting list of clients for certain times.

Remember this, folks. Life is too short. Ego is temporary, but love and compassion are forever (and how you positively impact the world leaves an indelible mark that ripples through space and time). Be kind. Be loving, Be considerate.

Situations like these kind divide us or unite us. The determining factor however is consciousness and awareness.

Can we step outside of our egos and connect to our spirits?

Can we connect to the love that we have in our hearts?

We're doomed in a sense to particular events and circumstances, but we are the holders and gate-keepers of our perceptions of reality. The choice to see the glass half-full vs empty is in our hands. What a gift and what an opportunity.

Ultimately, can we transcend our inherent fallible nature as human-beings and evolve emotionally, spiritually, and energetically to transmute water into wine (AKA grow and evolve positively from pain and suffering to ultimately contribute to our brothers and sisters of this planet earth)?

I invite you to find positivity amidst the chaos and connect to gratitude in your heart for what you have, the people in your life, and the very gift of life you have as you read this words.
