"Honestly I thought the presentation was really great and even though I had heard some of the facts that Miles mentioned before, the presentation as a whole left a lasting impression on how I approach every day nutrition & mental well-being.
Miles combined some facts that I had heard of before with clear statistics & numbers to convey a true representation of what nutrition means for the everyday person. He also explained why those repeated facts are actually really important, for example just the reminder that your body is made of water and needs it to function is why you can get headaches when you don’t drink enough water.
We’ve all been working from home for a while now while also trying to stay afloat amidst all of the changes with Covid that it is easy to lose track of our nutrition. What I really liked was how Miles showed that little, concrete steps in certain directions can truly improve your mind and body alignment in significant ways. From being aware of how much water you drink every day, to being conscious about the exact foods that you are putting into your body, to being sure you exercise on a regular basis – it reinforced a lot of good values I knew I had to achieve while also laying down realistic goals that we can all attain."
“I would have like to ask more questions during the presentation, maybe stop at certain part to ask if we have any particular questions, it would be more interactive and keep us more engaged during the presentation. I really enjoyed the presentation, it was well organized and the content was cohesive. The Q/A was very insightful."
“I thought the presentation was very well put together and informational. I really enjoyed it as I am trying to learn how to better take care of myself. I enjoyed the Q&A period and all of the different questions everyone asked. I will take some of the points Miles said and try to incorporate it into my everyday life?
